What is Microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion is a form of deep exfoliation. Using the latest diamond technology to remove the topmost layer of the skin, Microdermabrasion works by gently buffing over the skin surface and vacuuming the dead skin away. Depending on the skin type will depend on the severity of the abrasive tool that we use. With the removal of dead skin cells microdermabrasion will promote cell renewal, improving skin texture and appearance.
With the treatments deep exfoliating and cleansing technique Microdermabrasion will treat oily skin, extract black heads and reduce acne. Regular treatments will help signs of ageing by softening lines, lightening of age spots and stimulating the elastic tissue beneath the surface aiding in collagen reproduction. Also skin care products will be more effective as there is an increase in product absorption after a Microdermabrasion treatment.

Post treatment Care
Like all skin treatments Microdermabrasion can make you sun sensitive. Take precautions by using a SPF 30 daily and reapplying when you are outdoors. We recommend limiting sun exposure for at least two weeks after your Microdermabrasion treatment.
We advise when washing your face do not scrub. Use a gentle cleanser and no exfoliating for the next 5-7 days. It is also advisable to avoid any products that may be drying or irritating, including products containing salicylic acid, AHAs (including glycolic acids) and products containing Vitamin A or retinol.
