Forever Young
Forever Young is BBL’s most well known treatment and for good reason. It’s able to rejuvenate, correct pigment & vascular skin concerns, and tighten the face all at once with minimal pain and no downtime. Depending on your skin concerns, you will generally require 3-6 monthly treatments followed by maintenance treatments 2-4x per year.

We would recommend treating skin concerns, such as pigmentation, 4-6 times at 4-8 week intervals. Whereas if you’re simply wanting to refresh and rejuvenate the skin, you can book as needed.
Forever Clear
As the name suggests, Forever Clear is BBL’s acne treatment. This treatment is designed to treat acne at its root by targeting and destroying the acne-causing bacteria “Propionibacterium acnes”. Check out our results below – 24hrs after her first treatment!
For best results, we recommend a minimum of 6x fortnightly treatments to;

SkinTyte

For best results, we recommend 3-5 visits at 2-4 week intervals.
When to start?
Similar to other IPL and laser treatments, sun exposure needs to be avoided 4 weeks before having a BBL Hero treatment. Unfortunately we cannot treat you if your skin has been tanned from the sun. Therefore we advise commencing treatments in the cooler months to avoid adverse reactions.
Some other considerations before your treatments;
- 4 weeks prior: No sun exposure.
- 2 weeks prior: Avoid waxing, tweezing, and threading.
- 1 week prior: Avoid retinol, tretinoin, AHA’s, BHA’s, benzoyl peroxide, exfoliation/scrubs.
- A few days prior: Halt aspirin, ibuprofen, or other blood-thinning medication as well as vitamin e & fish oil. Please check with your healthcare provider before stopping prescription medication.
- One day prior: Shave the area if treating a body part (such as arms or legs)
- On the day: Avoid exercising before (and after) the treatment and limit caffeine & alcohol consumption.
What you can expect during the treatment
BBL Hero is generally well-tolerated and relatively comfortable during the treatment, though sensations can vary depending on your pain tolerance and the areas being treated. Here’s what you can expect:
During the treatment:
Most people describe the feeling as a mild to moderate warmth or heat on the skin as the light pulses are delivered. It’s similar to the feeling of a hot stone massage or a rubber band snapping lightly against the skin.
You may feel slight tapping or pulsations as the light energy penetrates the skin. This is normal and typically brief, lasting only as long as the pulse.
After the treatment:
After the procedure, you may experience slight redness or warmth, similar to a mild sunburn. This should subside within a few hours.
Most people feel no discomfort after the procedure, but there might be some sensitivity in the treated areas for a short period.
Overall, BBL Hero is a relatively quick and comfortable treatment with minimal-no downtime, and any sensations are usually short-lived.
Aftercare
We will email you after each treatment with a guide on how to take care of your skin post-treatment. Most clients do not have any side effects post-BBL Hero treatments aside from minor swelling and redness which resolves within 48hrs.
To prevent any adverse reactions, we recommend;
- First 12hrs: Use a cold compress or ice pack if necessary.
- First week: Use a gentle cleanser, keep skin well moisturised, and use an SPF50+ at all times.
- First 2 weeks: Avoid direct sun exposure (even with SPF50+). Avoid any irritants such as shaving, AHA’s, BHA’s, and exfoliation.
- Until skin is healed: Avoid touching or picking the skin – allow the skin to heal on its own.
